Celebrating 50 Years of Dedication and Retirement: Hal Stewart

Please join us in honoring Hal Stewart as he celebrates an incredible 50-year career and his well-earned retirement.

Hal’s journey began with a strong foundation. He graduated from Trumann High School in 1965 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arkansas State University in 1971. He also proudly served in the Arkansas National Guard from 1966 to 1972.

In 1973, Hal joined the company as Purchasing Manager under Gary Roach. In that role, he implemented the first inventory system at Roach Manufacturing Corporation, helping establish processes that would support future growth and efficiency.

By 1975, Hal transitioned into Sales Manager, where he made a lasting impact on the company’s direction. He played a key role in expanding the distribution and integration network, helping position the company for long-term success. He also launched the first Training and Application Methods program, giving distributors the knowledge and tools needed to better understand conveyor applications and improve their ability to serve customers.

Throughout his career, Hal developed a deep understanding of conveyor systems, guided in part by Charlie Parks. Over time, his insight and expertise became invaluable, contributing significantly to the growth and evolution of Roach Conveyors.

Hal’s 50 years of dedication, leadership, and innovation leave a lasting legacy. Thank you for everything you have done to help shape this company.

Congratulations, Hal, on an outstanding career and best wishes in your retirement.
