The RCD-1.5 and RCD-3 rail wheel conveyors are gravity rail wheel systems built with 12 gauge galvanized steel rails and 1-15/16″ diameter pre-lubricated ball bearing wheels on 1/4″ diameter galvanized steel bolt-type axles, designed for straightforward floor or rack mounted unit load movement in lengths from 1′ to 10′ in 1′ increments. Model RCD-3 uses wheels on a 3″ spacing to balance load support and low resistance movement, while model RCD-1.5 features a denser, staggered 1-1/2″ wheel pattern to increase contact points and support smaller or irregularly shaped loads with finer wheel distribution.
Both configurations offer the same basic rail construction and wheel capacity, allowing choice between broader wheel spacing for general conveying and tighter spacing for more consistent load support across the product bottom surface in gravity applications.
