The Accumulating Powered Truckloader uses powered rollers to move cartons into a trailer while allowing product to accumulate along the conveyor line. Accumulation zones temporarily hold cartons on the conveyor surface when the operator pauses loading or when space inside the trailer is limited. This allows upstream conveyors to continue delivering product without immediately requiring placement inside the trailer.
By incorporating photoeye-controlled accumulation zones, the ATL helps reduce congestion that can occur when cartons arrive faster than they can be placed inside the trailer. This buffering capability supports continuous system operation and minimizes interruptions to the overall material handling process.
The accumulating powered roller design helps maintain product orientation and stability as cartons move toward the end of the truckloader. Standard product guides assist with alignment while the powered rollers present cartons in a controlled sequence for loading. A 1.5 hp drive motor provides consistent conveyor movement to support steady product flow in demanding distribution environments.
