POSITION SUMMARY:
Roach Conveyors is searching for an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the development and optimization of electrical systems for our conveyor solutions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure projects meet client requirements and company standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design & develop electrical systems for conveyor systems, including motor controls, PLCs, and HMI interfaces.
- Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers to integrate electrical systems with overall conveyor designs.
- Stay updated on industry standards and technological advancements to enhance system performance.
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in designing electrical systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, UL, NFPA).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
